Better Safe than Sorry

The temp is supposed to be a toasty 57 today. I asked my son if he could pack the snowpants or at least wear his tennis shoes. Nope. He wears his winter garb(snowpants, boots, mittens, hat, scarf) faithfully everyday as the snow melts all around him. I am not sure why he is so adamant. My concern is that he will be teased, and I do my best to minimize the ways in which my boy could stand out. On the other hand, I don't think Joshua gives a hoot what other kids think of him and I'm glad. He has a good grip on his value in Christ. He knows Whose he is. He will swelter with a smile.
