Rules, what rules?

My children make up their own rules to games. Rules that are in their favor of course. One Christmas they received the game Operation. As the buzzer buzzed the whole time they picked every organ out of that man. I should have videotaped it for Funniest Videos, but I was laughing too hard. Today I played Kerplunk and found the rules had changed to whoever received the most marbles won the game, which was such a bummer because Mommy did not get one marble!! I totally lost the game!! If you slide down the longest chute in Chutes and Ladders, you win. If you lose at Tic Tac Toe you really win. Last one home is the winning egg!!

This is good news for most of us! Remember that good ol' American "rule", he who dies with the most toys, wins? Not true anymore!! So all of us Po' Folk can sit back and relax now.

So, the other day I a playing thumb wrestling with Josh. We have our fingers locked and our thumbs are positioning for the perfect pin. I like to sway back and forth and move my thumb all "hypery" and make karate noises, it makes Josh laugh hysterically. I make a move and pin him.

What does he yell? "You cheated, no fair." I blow it off, and we set up again. Bam! I pin him again, and again, again. All the while he is screaming that I am a cheater. I ask, "Josh, why do you call Daddy a cheater?" "Because you always win, I am suppose to win. The rules are that you let me win al the time." Josh explains to me.
