The Big Move

After much prayer and meetings with teachers, we decided Joshua would move from 3rd grade to 2nd. He was struggling with reading, spelling and handwriting. To ease the transition we told him over a school break and that gave him 4 days to adjust to the idea. Also, his principal told us to blame it on her. When Joshua headed to 2nd grade and his old classmates asked why he wasn't in their class anymore, Joshua simply said, "The principal put me in the wrong grade." I appreciated the fact that she took the heat! Joshua now comes home with less homework and what he does have he does himself and can't believe how much easier it is! I love his "go with it" attitude.
