Buzz

Joshua, at the tender age of 2 became enamored with Toy Story. He watched it over and over and over and tried hard to repeat the lines in the movie. He was forever running around the house in his Buzz Lightyear outfit shouting, "TO FEE OM!!" Translation...TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!! We fueled the fire by purchasing Buzz Lightyear and Woody dolls-oops sorry...I mean ACTION FIGURES at yard sales and his collection has grown to 25. He no longer plays with them but does want me to pack them away for his son. How sweet is that?? For 3 Halloweens in a row Joshua dressed up as Buzz. We all knew when to retire the suit as the pants became knickers and Joshua's voice became rather squeaky as he said the famous line. Can we say wedgie? Sometimes it's hard to watch your children outgrow things...like the ba ba, the nuk, and the binky...but I hope that Joshua remembers how much fun he had as Space Ranger Buzz.
